Writers Retreat – August 2020

Looking for that jump start to writing your story? Or advice on how to make your writing better? How would you like a devoted block of time where you can shut the world out and just concentrate on your craft? MiFiWriters has you covered.

Join us for a fun weekend of writing, critique, and learning. From Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30, we’ll be holding a writing retreat at the Wesley Woods Camp & Retreat Center in Dowling, Michigan. Our editors will be on hand to offer feedback, advice, or just answer questions.

During the day, you can write in the privacy of your room, or in a quiet public space with other retreat members, or explore the facilities of the camp to find another place that works for you. You can even take your writing out into nature if that helps get your mind where it needs to be. In the evening, we’ll come together to share what we’ve written and give constructive feedback and critique. Fiction writers of all genres are welcome. If you have a story to tell, we want to help you tell it as well as you possibly can.

Retreat members will stay at Wesley Woods in individual rooms, and meals will be provided (accommodations can be made if you have a special dietary restriction such as vegetarian or vegan, just let us know). All of that is at no further cost: your lodging and meals are included in the price of this weekend.
