Those of you who have been with us from the start know that when we first formed MiFiWriters we had a secondary goal. Besides highlighting the voices of Michigan’s speculative fiction community, we wanted to put those writers in contact with each other. We wanted to serve as clearing house/meeting place where writers could connect. Let’s say you are looking to join a writers group, or to start one. Or maybe you are a part of a writers group looking to bring in new members. Whatever the reason, what you’d need would be a central listing of other writers or writers groups looking to do the same thing.
As it turned out, we couldn’t devote the resources to do the idea properly. Thankfully, someone else has done just that.
